Does anybody know how to combine 2 MP3s? I made a recording of a book signing I was at yesterday, and the file is split into one short piece and one very long piece. I would like to just have one run into the other if possible.

So 5 days later the recovery effort is mostly done. There are large holes in some of my stuff, and more corrupted files than I'd care to think about, but it worked. I'm sitting on a pile of files and folders that are unnamed, but I'm fairly certain that I have the things that I wanted to save in there somewhere. I never knew it'd be that easy to reformat a hard drive... I feel a little bit numb.

This wouldn't have happened if my external hadn't broken. Well it might have, but I'd still have copies of everything so it'd hardly be a problem. That's it for now... Hopefully tomorrow we try to start recovery.

So after a few weeks of nudging by my brother I called the phone company to see how much our rates would go up if we got DSL over their dial up service. The answer they gave me ($6/month) was apparentely the right one because my mom decided to let us go ahead with it. Probably just to get us to stop complaining ( Read more... )
